Yes this is a conversation I often have with my AFL loving melbournian friends.
One in particular is fairly scathing of the fact that League is about just constantly running at a wall and getting smashed.
I told him this is the true genius of the game, and suggested that he run at a brick wall 6 times in a row and see if he makes it through
