Isaac Moses

The Bandit

Reserve Grader
Given Moses manages 30% of NRL coaches Warriors, Cowboys, Newcastle, St George and us, are we then at all concerned that more than 50% of the starting 13 tomorrow night are from his stable ? In my opinion, a statistic like that should have anyone in charge of a balance sheet unable to answer a question at a press conference, due to industrial deafness as a direct result of the alarms going off in the front office.

Are you suggesting Moses in essence runs our club??

Surely his only interest is the 10% he charges each customer & getting the best deal for each of them NOT managing how they play or how they coach.

From all reports including yours feathered friend
It is evident The real Manly CEO that is running our club is Moses and not Mestrov

Brooks, Bullemore, Lodge, Talau are the only ones?

Didn’t someone make a post disproving this theory? If anyone can remember please post but I think there was quite a few player agents with 3-4 clients in the top 30. Didn’t seem like any agent ‘owned’ the squad

Of course it's disproven, who genuinely believes some conspiracy that a player manager has more control of a club than the CEO? It's up there with flat earther rubbish.

Yeah I made this post but I can't remember where it is.

Point is, it's four players, plus the coach.

So three of those players starting, (like 20% of the starting team) on a combined $900k. Not really that pressing. They're all replaceable.

Player & Coach Agents are a cancer on the game.
Bit simplistic? To me there are obvious conflicts of interest when agents represent multiple parties, that's the main problem. On the other hand you can understand someone wanting a representative to help them in dealing with clubs or they'd be screwed nearly every time.

ARL has left this in the too-hard basket far too long. Greenberg couldn't touch the agents because they had the dirt on him, but that's quite a while ago now

Everyone knows player agents are a problem, but what's the solution? This is big money and you can't just freeze them out when sports management is a global, multi-billion dollar business. I'm not advocating for them at all, I'm just saying it appears easier said than done.

Players need representation.

Otherwise clubs would walk all over them.

Agents are no worse in their sneaky games then clubs are.

Only issue I have is agents representing players and coaches
