Doesn't mean we will get him but I am looking forward to see the areas Des thinks we need to strengthen. Hooker is such a key position nowadays, can't go into a season pinning all your hopes on one rookie, even a highly talented on.

We need someone to organise the attack and direct the plays. Luke might be the man. Pretty solid in defence as well and gets under the skin of opposition players to put them off their game. If he’s cheap I’d give him a go.

Issac Luke has been a terrific competitor. I always feared him when he was in the opposition team.
But we did have such a great competitor in Api and have forced him out.
I can't see the logic.

We are a young team, and need a few older hard heads, but Luke does not strike me as the type I would like to see around the young squad.

Would be all for it if we are playing true unders, and acts like more of a mentor than anything else. Don't need him on the bench in first grade or anything like that - would prefer to see someone like Croker, Cust or ZDC in that spot if needed.
