Is Mestrov looking to get out?

The fallout from Daly Cherry-Evans’ decision to walk away from Manly at the end of the season may not be over. There have been whispers that club chief executive Tony Mestrov has been making quiet inquiries about potential job opportunities elsewhere.

This talk is known throughout the NRL, but Mestrov will deny it. Those close to Mestrov say he has been sounded out about jobs – not the other way around.

Previously, this column asked club owner Scott Penn about Mestrov’s future at the Sea Eagles after the Cherry-Evans decision, and Penn was happy to say Mestrov is a big part of Manly’s plans. It remains to be seen if he is there for the long haul.

this is from Danny Weidler smh

You have to (well we ask you too) put your source when posting chunks of works that you (we) didn't write ourselves.

the above came from the SMH, I think.

thanks.

edit: I think it has something to do with not giving credit...as in some journos want their work shown as their work.

Anyway...Dan asked us to. No biggie

Yes, but equally importantly it helps us assess the credibility of the info.
In this case ... Weidler has been in the anti-Mestrov/anti-Manly/pro-DCE camp from the moment of our captain's channel 9 appearance, and continues to trry to make mileage from it with hiscall for emails and such other utter bs.
Hopefully a non-story, I think Mestrov has been doing a good job at Manly.

If Mestrov goes, DCE may backflip. Not unheard of.
Personally i would not care if he did back flip and was prepared to stay on 750 K for one year and even taking into account the past few week 's shenanigans .
if last night 's turnaround in form and attitude is any guide and strictly in the professional sense .
In addition to the hardly clear outlook where things are going with Fogarty right now

If he goes can he take Spoony. If he doesn't go, can he promote Spoony to full-time Maccas run boi.

DCE will play on then with Manly

I beter update my CV, get my agent Mr Moses on the case, and prepare for an interview with Mr Penn.
