DES Hasler will be staying at Manly next season but don't bank on him being there in 2013.
As reported in The Daily Telegraph yesterday, the Bulldogs are keen to speak to Hasler, although he is understood to be tied to the Sea Eagles next year after a clause in his contract lapsed earlier this season.
We're told the Sea Eagles are negotiating to extend it for another two seasons, but fear they won't be able to keep their much-loved coach if another club makes a huge offer for his services.No laughing matter

Why can't we match the huge offer? It doesn't count in the salary cap and if the owners want long term succes then they might have to do whatever it takes to keep Dessie.
