Apparently there are a large number of lawsuits going on against Android and all Vendors of Android phones. Basically there are some fair examples of copyright infringement (and part of the reason I think IP laws need to be reviewed again, particularly where open source is concerned)

Anyway a lot of the makers have to pay a large percentage to a certain company who have a lot of copyright on features of smart phones

Yes, Samsung and Apple have big court cases going on,especially over the tablet.

Apparently Androiod base products have their answer to SIRI now....its been called IRIS. Not sure on how true this is but can see more court cases in the future.
