@BOZO and @sean john and @yokahontas aren't there as no one present is muscly lookin' enough! (apologies).

@marga wouldn't be there as she is so famous the players go and meet her! (and rightly so).

Nope, and stupid ****ing idea have it the night before so 99.9% of actual interstate members can’t make it!!

Yes I know it’s been 4 years since I was involved but I had 2500 QLD and Northern NSW fans on my data base when I was doing the MWTS and less than 5% lived in Brisbane / Inner City, huge numbers were at the Gold Coast and from the Northern Rivers , and many from FNQ and even @marga from Emerald.

When I was involved it was the whole team attending and post game ( often at Suncorp) , there were often up to 600 in attendance , that photo suggests about 30!!

I know the logistics post game and if we lose they don’t feel like doing it BUT is it about the members or what’s best for the club.

Sell 1000 memberships including a function and get 30 turn up!!

Great deal for them!!

Those were the days. Some of my best Manly memories were the travelling supporters functions.

No I missed this function, but got to talk to and get a hug from Daly after the game, so the trip was worth it. Great game to be at.
