Internal NRL draft

Yeah I don't really understand the draft system enough to say I am 100% behind the idea but there MUST be some sort of approach that casts all this recruitment business to one side while the season proper is taking place...this approach also MUST put a stop players not honouring contracts.

A player does have to honour his contract. If moses leaves it will be because Tigers let him leave.

I know what you mean but the player doesn't have to honour it anymore because the NRL have set things up in such a way that (A) allows the player to sign with another club so early in the season and (B) it's in the best interests of the club under the current set up to simply let the player walk.

If there was a transfer window at the end of the season (A) Moses would still be a Tiger at this stage of the year and (B) the Tigers would hold onto him until the end of the year instead of releasing him to free up funds to be active in the market before the June 30 deadline for mid-season transfers.

It's all a joke.
 
I don't want to cheer on even one Manly player that is already 100% signed to another club. Why can't he just sign with another club in early October so I can back him all season? This is entertainment for the fans, is it not?
