    Just had e-mailed to me by the Bank Manager:

    RBA - raises official cash rate by .25% to 5.50%

    We won't even mention the current account deficit will we?

    pre election: interest rates will stay steady unless labour get in then they will go through the roof.

    now: Well its to be expected, these things will happen, nothing we can do about it.
