Inglis

I thought he said he has a drinking problem which is probly adding weight. I can't criticize him for that as i too drink everyday. But complaining about fat shaming lmfao.

The article was taken from an interview Yvonne Sampson that aired on Fox Sports last night on League Life. It's actually the fisrt time I've actually listened to GI speak at length. He is quite a simple character and actually very sensitive. He candidly spoke about his depression how he couldnt get out of bed. The psychologist told him to get out of bed and do things that he enjoys, which is golf and his horses. Eventually he did. I know a lot of people would envy to be in his situation ie to be an elite sports star and to wake up to golf, but to me it highlights how depression can effect anybody. Just my thoughts.

Is Greg a professional sportsman or a professional victim ,me thinks the latter

-DV issues
-drink driving while speeding
-signing multiple contracts
-philandering
-clearly nudging the beers and burgers

and if you listen to him none of the above is his fault .I don't see him as any kind of role model what so ever .In fact I see his level of preciousness and self pampering right up there with the most precious of sports species going around, that being the Professional tennis player . think Kyrios,Tomic etc etc

sick of hearing about him to be honest especially since it was revealed that Greenturd was his knight in shining armor

Is this from the Betoota Advocate? Surely this is a joke?

Thought the same as you W64, and in fact was hoping it was satire. I think it is far more dire than people being soft. It is becoming a convenient excuse for those who are unwilling to be accountable for their own actions and accept the
consequences. Becoming boorish.

He's also been in the media today talking about how he used to hit the bottle to deal with his "mental demons" & that he now knows it's the wrong thing to do.

I would never make fun of anyone's mental health issues, but it sickens me that this is so blatantly follow up PR to take the heat off his recent drink driving conviction.

The guy can hardly string a sentence together & slurs his speech at the best of times so unfortunately him offering these safe pearls of wisdom sounds completely disingenuous.

He was hardly hitting the bottle to escape his demons when he got pinged, he'd been partying the night before & thought he wouldn't get caught. Playing the mental health card just makes me dislike the bloke even more.

Partying the night before, then one schooner at lunch apparently. Bollocks.

Maybe he should take his boat out and clear his head.
