Inglis-ACL!

If you have to ask then you won't understand.
Mate @Turbo1 celebrating someone else's misfortune isn't a good look. It's okay to want manly to win. But we should want to win against the best of the best and prove ourselves. Sorry for being so harsh. tearing an ACL is a horrible thing. I've done it five times. (Three times on the reconstructions). The work it takes to come back from it is incredible and painful.

Once again sorry for coming down so hard on you.

Ummmmmm no matter how much I dislike a player I would never go so low as to wish he gets injured & definitely wouldn't laugh & be smug about it if he was. Karma!!!!

Souths decision to allow Inglis back on the field was crazy. The guy could hardly walk and they make a decision it can't get any worse - really! This is likely to become a very costly decision for Souths on a number of fronts.

Prefer to see Smith cop a bone crusher like the shot from Matai, than cheer when injured....I will say though - not to want injuries to key opposition players....but damn we copped more than our fair share in recent years.

It will be interesting to see if there was any collateral damage to the knee by leaving him on. From all reports you can't do any further damage to the ACL once it is gone, but there is a possibility of other structural damage. However given his very limited involvement post incident, I doubt he has complicated the situation.

Don't like to wish ill on most players, injury not much fun, but in some cases it's hard not to put a little skip in your step.

He could still have torn medial and done meniscus damage. Although if he's out for a reconstruction those things would be speed bumps on the way to recovery. Medial mends itself with rest in most cases and takes a lot less than the ACL to recover from.

Ian Roberts played with a torn ACL for us for a long time in 1996 I think. He had it strapped and didn't do too much lateral movement so he coped pretty well til the end of the season. Inglis did bloody well to stay out there IMO
