Kind of reminds me of our near neighbours we invited for a BBQ and who spent the whole night presuming we'd agree with their "we hate all kaffirs" rhetoric purely because I was born in Africa.  "Okey dokey" we said as we waved them goodbye at night end.

I recently moved to this no thru road, olden established precinct, and was considering doing the whole closed off street BBQ thingy until you said that.

Might just have a drink and wave goodbye to all & sundry as they pass instead.

[/quote]  If you're over Maleny way you'll need to make sure you have lots of food.  Inevitably they'll have the munchies, it's just a question of whether they'll do it before you arrive to save you the panic that the cops might turn up (assuming they're not on the payroll).
