Otherwise, as a majority Shareholder/Owners, the current mob can run us into the ground - but it's their actual monies if we stop buying Memberships, so it won't be forever. I doubt that they would stay after the real estate deal to build on Community Land, is officially refused by Warringah Council and the Courts of Appeal etc.

Due to the Broadcast requirements of 8 NRL games per week, I don't believe that Manly is in any danger of becoming defunct. Case in point, the NRL are currently paying the upkeep of the Tigers,Titans,Knights and in part the Saints Franchises.

So sit back and grit your teeth, as it will get worse before we as Fans see the reinstatement of the Manly Identity.
I feel that this whole episode is akin to the Northern Eagles era - it was as ugly, but it's now dead

I would email [email protected] so that you have written proof, then call them on (02)9970 3000 to confirm.

I think someone posted that the Club has left the NRL Membership Portal so no auto renewals are currently in place. I never had it on auto renew, so I haven't yet received any email about the 2016 Membership.

There is no need to rush to renew, as the Club has a disclaimer on Brookie being available for the home games. A a lot of locals would find the transport out of the area a huge challenge should Manly relocate.

Maybe the nematodes will also mysteriously re-appear

Just as I am weighing up keeping/reducing/scrapping my membership the club comes up with another dud decision (one of many) Penn you are an absolute disaster, please go away and take that fat ugly Greek with you. Fed up with the club I have loved for 45 years and that is very sad.

That was what the press release says, but do you honestly believe it? I don't. Barrett wouldn't chop a kid with huge potential and good performances in junior rep teams who he'd never worked with before.
No. Unless he comes out and says it was his call I'll believe the decision was made from higher authorities.

I think Tafua forced their hand with his form last year. Had he come back unable to get to bombs and so on like he had when injured, then he would have been on the chopping block, much like Wolfie. But the booze ban (probably the best thing this admin has done) and getting over the ankle and shoulder injuries made him one of the best in our backline.

Hiku too for all faults and girth, he is still the best option at the #1 right now if Snake goes down. I don't know how he does it, but he can never look like he's going flat out or doing much and you look at the stats and he's run for 200M lol

It may also speak to their intentions when Lyon and Matai retire, i.e. looks for strike centres. Barrett is coming from Penrith who had big fast outside backs.

Gutho is a young kid who has shown potential and time will tell what impact the ACL injury will have on him and how far he develops into a quality NRL player
Some people on here are making him to being like some type of porn star
