I wonder if Gutho would have signed had he known the sky was going to fall in.
Our great Manly Sea eagles culture has proven time after time that when the sky falls in we always soar above itI wonder if Gutho would have signed had he known the sky was going to fall in.

You can sign up to be a Manly Football Club Member. After 3 consecutive years, you get to vote on the aspects of Manly - colours, name, Brookie.🙂
I'm always thankful you take the time to post this as I wonder sometimes how many from here are members...or if indeed the op realises that they can support the club in this way.
It's been said a heap of times but new members log on so thanks for posting, yet again!
Oh and to answer what can be done....
Use paragraphs! (op) lol
I will definitely be signing up GE.
Fair enough request, I posted that from my mobile so its a bit more difficult to structure it.
By the way whats op?

Otherwise, as a majority Shareholder/Owners, the current mob can run us into the ground - but it's their actual monies if we stop buying Memberships, so it won't be forever. I doubt that they would stay after the real estate deal to build on Community Land, is officially refused by Warringah Council and the Courts of Appeal etc.
Due to the Broadcast requirements of 8 NRL games per week, I don't believe that Manly is in any danger of becoming defunct. Case in point, the NRL are currently paying the upkeep of the Tigers,Titans,Knights and in part the Saints Franchises.
So sit back and grit your teeth, as it will get worse before we as Fans see the reinstatement of the Manly Identity.
I feel that this whole episode is akin to the Northern Eagles era - it was as ugly, but it's now dead
We can cheer Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on, regardless of Management
Wishing the NYC Team all the very best for Sunday's GF win![]()
http://membership.seaeagles.com.au/ContactHey HappilyManly, do you know how to cancel the auto-renew for Sea Eagle club membership, sadly I don't think I'll re-new this year.
Thanks!
That was what the press release says, but do you honestly believe it? I don't. Barrett wouldn't chop a kid with huge potential and good performances in junior rep teams who he'd never worked with before. My understanding was that the decision to release Gutherson was made by the new master coach... Not Penn!
I honestly believe it . Look at Barrett's backline optionsThat was what the press release says, but do you honestly believe it? I don't. Barrett wouldn't chop a kid with huge potential and good performances in junior rep teams who he'd never worked with before.
No. Unless he comes out and says it was his call I'll believe the decision was made from higher authorities.
We have known all along that we had too many quality backs, and Barrett clearly has expectations that the 3 old stagers still have something important to offer.I honestly believe it . Look at Barrett's backline options
Brown and Hiku Nz Internationals
Tom T the best young back in the game . Taufua the animal Inspirational Matai Sensational Snake and with Lyon available where does it leave Gutho and his ACL ?
It may also speak to their intentions when Lyon and Matai retire, i.e. looks for strike centres. Barrett is coming from Penrith who had big fast outside backs. We have known all along that we had too many quality backs, and Barrett clearly has expectations that the 3 old stagers still have something important to offer.
That being the case, I agree with other posters who said we are doing the kid a favour by not keeping him stuck in reserves behind the games best backline. Bit like what the Broncos did in letting the young halfback go.
They did the same with the hooker ParcellWe have known all along that we had too many quality backs, and Barrett clearly has expectations that the 3 old stagers still have something important to offer.

Did they? Could be wrong but I thought we signed him from under the Broncos guard, which is why they then stopped using him in NRL, to punish him for the defection. They did the same with the hooker Parcell
Either way the Bennett Broncos can be accused for not being diligent enough to have him signedDid they? Could be wrong but I thought we signed him from under the Broncos guard, which is why they then stopped using him in NRL, to punish him for the defection.
