In Barrett we trust!

I expect to get a million dislikes for this, but we have no choice but support Barrett. We just lost our only support half in Hastings, no support Front row/backrow in Lussick, Siro, Kelepi, Taufua, it's the changing of the gaurd... Get with our team, and Barrett... Come on **** you guys, we are Manly, we don't give up ever! Get behind him, who the **** is going to be better that is available. TT carrying a niggle, Dylan tentitive, I'm not giving up. Go Manly!!!

I’d be happy to get behind Des Hasler, but Barrett has brought his St Merge mediocrity to our great club and deserves disdain for that.

Might as well put Mr Bubbles in charge of the team. Anyone remember the notorious Mr Bubbles?
Yes, I remember Mr Bubbles, he was a Kiddie fidler in Adelaide, ran a pedophile ring. Sorry, but I don;t know what the relevence with Barrett?

Look, we are in a rabble, we got no choice, I just hope Penn is not backpeddling, because he funds this joint. There are no spare coaches, maybe Tooves, but it seems he had a blowup with Penn. Who else is there? I know that's another thread, but it's relevent.

I'm hoping Metcalf is fit and well, also an upgrade for Anderson would be a good play, like today, 27th player or whatever.

Metcalf is a fair way off first grade, I reckon. Did you see him in the 20s last year? Not short of talent but he's very slight, always one of the smallest players on the park, and he'll need a bit more size before he starts mixing it up in the NRL.

Gojetski seems a goer... and Paseka had a good start, Dylan Walker easing into the game. Really happy with Thompson's effort, he started to mix it up in attack, think an offload is on the cards. DCE, outstanding, as was Api, Thommy, good young side, down on their rythym...

He’s treating the team like kiddies, not professional, grown up men.

Wasn’t Mr Bubbles in Mona Vale?

I'm disappointed, but the team is so young. I just pray for a reasonable injury run from now on in.

Hi Mr TB, WAKE UP MATE
do you want to wait another season to blood players ans see if they cut the grade????

mate look at BELLAMY, croft didn't cut it and he cut croft . Croft is no different to Croker, they are young and need experience. Manly does not have senior player with leadership to
teach Croker the way.... Foran had many senior & by rep players , not to mention Hasler and Johns as the halves coach....

your wind loss ratio should be a major alarm ringing by now,
WAKE UP MATE , make some MAN-LY decisions . take control via some hard decisions in the backs & halves ....and not by throwing your arms in the air to no avail.

Edit** **** just read your post again and realised you were on a completely different topic

Anyways, here's to anyone thinking of a man like Bellamy...

Bellamy most certainly isn't a Manly man, he may improve our side although if we start throwing in all these outsider coaches then the true manly mentality will be one of the past. If we do happen to rid of Barrett (which I don't think is necessary just yet), then we need to bring back manly. Geoff Toovey would be an awesome coach to have back, although the Penn brothers seem to not like him and they may be stubborn to prove that they were right in getting rid of him.

The lack of discipline, leadership. 1% plays, basics on the field are all qualities that a coach would instill in the players, No different from a employer training you, if you continue to dish out crap you will face consequences. If your employer is a softie, u will plod along , just like a lot of our players ...hot and cold not consistency..... Bellamy and Hasler earned respect with fear from the playing group . different mentality to TB.

You know, although i'm most certainly not all for it, Des Hasler may not (i repeat, may not) be the worst option. Time of desperation, or maybe just a time of panic. As the season progresses it'll become clearer what we need, and if we're going to truly be that desperate.

I don't think he should manage the cap though if he was called upon!

Des regretted leaving Manly, you could tell he never looked confident when with the Dogs, he lacked that level of care he had for us. Absolute dick move what he did to us, never can forgive him for that, although he's definately an option for us again

Im glad u said that, i would welcome HASLER back on a 2 yr Deal, with a clause that management handle the salary cap

weve gone from 4th place 60+ PD to 12th on 4+PD..
TB, your lack of leadership and poor choices have had a major play in this inconsistency since you started the role .
your win loss ratio is telling us all that you and croker need to go back to Intrust for min 1 year ... for some experience.
