I'm waiting...........
Quite the contrary. It is wonderful that we have now stood up to one of the genuine heavyweights, away from home, on a Friday Night, and have come away with a tough, grinding win.
We have buried all sorts of hoodoos and we have also shown that our defence is of the highest order.
I though Monaghan's kicking was superb and a huge factor in the win.
King stood upo and had a real hot go and has partially vindicated Fluffy's faith in him.
Witt continues to rub salt in the Parramatta wounds.
Kennedy and Menzies were the reason we won - so many time one or the other or both made the tackle that shut down a play where they looked like they could score.
Mander won the game for us by finding a forward pass where there wasn't. That balances up the infamous Kerrod Walters bounced try at Lang Park in 1990.
Stephenson let us down when he first came on but made some crucial tackles in the second half.
The only dissapointment - and one of the ususal suspect - Chad Randall. As far as I could see he played the opening 20 minutes and did not reappear. Hasler obviously doesn't have faith in his defensive ability and preferred Dunley whilst it was tight - which was the whole game.
Well done Manly
Oh, by the way - you could hear the "Manly" chant on the TV and I'm sure the AE boys were in the thick of it. Especially given that Fluffy made the vision shouting his heart out.
