Dylan Napa retains his title as the game’s resident bone-rattler, despite injuries limiting his game time since shifting from Bondi to Belmore. While Sam Burgess, James Fisher-Harris and Tariq Sims have lost none of their impact since last year’s player poll, rising rookie Victor Radley’s has already carved out a serious reputation among his peers. Despite packing in at just 92 kilos, Radley’s superb timing and kamikaze attitude make him one of game’s most feared defenders.

Obviously the "hardest hitter" is different to the "hardest tackler" which Jake wins hands down.
The word 'hit' only came into the NRL lexicon because of the Americanisation of the sport, along with "good D", "red zone", "bomb" and cr*p like this.

Jake is an excellent defender, his technique is a sight to behold but as a hard hitter he is not like Skivvi or Igor

I miss the Steve Matai defensive clinic.
He used to have an open day once a week (game day) and Taufua and Whare were two of his first graduates 😀
