Huge Young Pack - Can they Dominate?

So we dont

So we don't have a hooker in hastings. We are go to trial him as a hooker is what you mean?
Every player is on trial and vying for positions . That is what trial games in the beginning of the season are for

These Youngsters could well be Manly's cornerstone for the next 7-8 years....
AFB, Meehan, Lane, Perrett are genuine Giants and the games biggest heart and potential Superstar forward sits with young Jake to lead them....
Really hoping they all step up, Jake is a NO brainer & WILL get it done...AFB in his first season proved he has the goods, Perrett has the tools but plenty to prove & improve, Meehan in the the same box, but could well be the biggest X factor player on Manly's books & Lane - showed at the Dogs he is a great edge runner, who will terrorise opposition....especially in that Red Zone where we have trouble posting points.
Suddenly there appears some depth - big bodies who could well set up DCE, Green to exploit the attacking skills of Turbo, Walker & Uate out wide...add Tafua - I think he has more to give.
YES its a young group here but add Kapow's energy & Myles.....well ....something (experience?) & we have potential that can hopefully rise in 2017 & years to come....
I will add, Hastings at 21 could also prove a great Hooker with massive tenacity - missing around that ruck from dummy half for a while.

Good read and tend to agree. We are due for a few players to have break out seasons. I'm counting on Perret, Hastings, Kelly and Lane. 😉

Although not sure how you forgot about Lussick. He is our starting prop, leader and a chance for captain next year.

Yeh I know right....Lussick!!
Single handed at times in 2016 stood tough when the war was on....no excuse besides was more trying to emphaSIZE the new players and what they can bring....still....2 hands up for stupidity here and willing to cop 6 uppercuts off all Silvertails.
Lussick aggression is key to bringing out the mongrel in the young pups mentioned, no doubt about it.

That seems to be an excessive amount of uppercuts!

It is a pack with potential but could also flop

Meehan, Sironen, Lane, Perrett are yet to be consistent first graders and Lussick has played just 1/2 a season as a good prop, the rest he was average at best.

@Dan - we need a 'Give yourself an uppercut' icon for 2017.
