Hi All,

Just thought I would let you know that a "lite" version of the site has been created and is now open for business.

This is basically a mobile version of Silvertails which gives you the latest 10 news articles, ladder, and soon, tipping and results via your smart phone.

Some of you will also be glad to know the Forums are now able to be accessed via a more mobile friendly format, especially for iPhone users.

anyway, should make life easier for some of you and let me know if you want more features in there. I may add live scores and tie twitter in as well later.

Well it will be once I get the tipping comp sorted within here. It is already usable via the internet just a pain.

So this should hopefully clean it up once I finish.

I have almost cleaned up all of the forum links too, should be finished shortly.

One possible feature change - though it might be a user config thing already - is to show more posts per page. On my iPhone acrolling is easy and I'd prefer a slower less often page load then heaps of little page loads to read through a thread.

Also the message text field for putting in a reply is pretty small! Fits three lines of text of about five words a line!

Just a couple of sugestions - feel free to ignore. I'm loving it so far.

I dont know if this is asking for too much..

Some websites can auto dectect that you're accessing it via a mobile and automatically redirects to the mobile version of the site.. Can this be done?

I've saved the mobile version of the site as a favourite, but an auto redirect would be handy cos i often access silvertails via Twitter.. and it would be handy for it to go straight to the mobile version of the site

Hi, yeah that can and will be done soon. The code is in place just not active yet, I wanted to run a few more tests and i am am running comparisons between main site and mobile site so need it off to complete these.

It should be sorted tomorrow and I will start working on the tipping comp via mobile too.

I am going to be away for pretty much 2 weeks straight (Going away for work etc) but will try my hardest to get it all going by months end.

The post box size has been increased but I am having trouble increasing the amount of posts, the code is embedded somewhere outside of the template I have been writing and i cant seem to track it down
