I had the pleasure of talking to the turtle the morning after he back flipped and played in Brissy and got booed by the Queenslanders big time.

You know when someone says, it didn't affect them, but it, it's is absolutely clear it affected them. I got to experience that with Turtle personally.

But I just can't fathom, he then plays 15 years of first grade, Club Captain, and getting booed at Brookvale.

But I just don't see that not happening this weekend.

Sad Sad Sad way to end a career at a club, tis an astonishing way to sign off as a so called CLUB legend.

I said years ago long before i stoppled posting that we will never win a comp with cherry turbo and sloth in the same team.

Be happy we might be able to win one now. How quick you all are to forget the headless chook matches that keep propping up when a win is on offer.

To me Mestrov is no fool, far and away the best CEO for years.

DCE is orchestrating this **** show , to show the club in a bad light , because , he probably signed this deal with the Roosters months ago.

It will be a massive ( MASSIVE) offer , circa the following

1.5 million a year for two years
Then 1 million a year coaching fees for 5 years following his retirement.
And 1 million a year with channel 9 post retirement.

Yes I’ve made the figures up , but it wouldn’t be far from wrong.

I think you're in a better position from your past experience to speculate what's happened and happening behind the scenes, than I, Mark.

DCE is such a complex character it seems - he often starts a sentence with an idea in his mind about what he wants to portray to the public, and often finishes the sentence it by saying something else entirely, something perhaps closer to the truth.

He always seem to try and walk the middle ground and not upset people yet usually manages to do exactly the opposite by seeming disingenuous. This weeks duplicity act of pretending on the one hand to have no bad blood at Manly and appearing undecided about playing on whilst simultaneously batting his eyelids at the Roosters or whoever in unedifying. But entirely consistent with what we've seen from him over the years.

good luck trying to spin this one Daly - you've left for a better offer and it's all been agreed upon already, probably because you feel slighted that the club hasn't kissed your feet enough or whatever. I doubt you will convince too many people of your virtue but no doubt you will give it a red hot crack.
