I did a rough calculation (im only guessing the per year figure,)
35 years @ roughly $700 a year = $24,500
and this is how they treat us

Mate, that's a tough one, but here goes:-

1. Jerseys etc:- $200 (training jersey, shirt, hat, shirt)
2. Membership X 2 = $160
3. Been to about 50 games @ Brookie either supporting Manly / other team (when Bears supporter) = $500 @ an average of say $10-
4. Food at ground @ an average of $10 = $500
5. Got Company to be silver sponsor, by making our centre vote and commit (and have box) in 03 and 04 @ $1,000 per week odd over 26 weeks X 2 = $52,000
6. Food/drink at say $100 a pop for corporate box = $5,200 odd

My biggest achievement was getting two SENIOR people at my institution to have a meeting with Pat Wilson THIS year regarding possibly being a MAJOR sponsor, or at least naming rights over Sydney Sports Academy - possibly could have been $100, 000 PA + ?

So Hmmmmm.....what's that make me?
Around $60-65k so far...but if major sponsorship came off, potentially around $300-$400k.

Hehehehehehehehe......I guess I'm not so much a liability to the club.

That said, we were allowed to advertise etc on the electronic scoreboard....
