The canucks were losing 5-2 with 1 minute to play against a Dallas team that they had not beaten in two years last night.

In an NHL first, the Canucks scored 3 times in 55 seconds, making it 5-5 and forcing the game to overtime.

The momentum continued and an overtime goal secured the win for Vancouver keeping their thin thin thin....(let's face it they ain't gunna make it) playoff hopes alive.

EDMONTON -- Mattias Ekholm will not be available for the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Los Angeles Kings because of an undisclosed injury.

“Not confirmed, but it looks like Mattias will be out for a while and won’t be returning any time soon,” Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said Monday. “He’s not playing tonight and not playing in the first round of the playoffs.”

Attn is not one of my strong suits. I've got it on the radio on the NHL app ( I had to laugh, you can choose either Oilers or Kings commentary!)

It was an amazing comeback. From 5-1 down to 5-5. I think now you guys have clicked it looks good for the oilers.

What's your thoughts on 7 game series setup?
Seems excessive, but of course you do get more hockey haha.
Like the English Premier League where the "minor" premiers are actually the champions, no finals etc. weird.
