Hockey is back!

Thank goodness as it was hard watching the last few Manly games.

Go Vancouver Canucks..

OH WAIT....

Canucks have set an NHL record for most losses when leading by multiple goals at the start of the season.

That's right. Those F-wits have lost their first FOUR games and in each one they were leading by TWO OR MORE GOALS.

I'm damn annoyed.

Phil Kessel breaks NHL's 'iron man' record, scores 400th goal in Golden Knights win

Phil Kessel becomes NHL's new iron man skating in 990th consecutive game

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Phil Kessel celebrated his NHL Ironman record by scoring his 400th career goal and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the San Jose Sharks 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Kessel broke the record set by Keith Yandle last season when he got the start in his 990th consecutive game since taking the ice for Toronto on Nov. 3, 2009.

He wasn't done there, getting the first goal of the game to add to his milestone night. He took a pass in transition from Brett Howden and beat James Reimer up high to become the 12th American-born player to score 400 goals.

Kessel nearly reached that mark on Monday before an offsides challenge wiped off his goal against Toronto. There was no question this time.

Not bad for a pudgy guy who never drinks water...lol

Connor McDavid is a brilliant...brilliant player and the NHL have successfully removed all his character (a la Crosby).

I did my annual "Drive to Vancouver in the snow to watch the Canucks lose against the Washington capitals because Ovechkin is the best goal scorer ever."

I think that's 5 years in a row... sheesh
