'72 - '07 (i still claim it). '73 - '08. '76 - '11. '78 - '13??
I like it!!
I would like it also if it came off reason why we can't dismiss how good this team is.
i was explaining this very same thing to my brother this morning, not having read this thread ! Wouldnt it also be sweet irony that the very opponents we beat to start the cycle off in '72 are the ones we finish it off with?. Nuther reason why its going to happen.
The 9 year cycle ended (76, 87, 96, 08 less Northern Eagles years) so we need a new one.
The last time Hawthorn won the AFL Manly won 40 nil a week later. Another repeat next week maybe. I will settle for a 1 point win though!
Annual cycles are easier to remember, so every time the azaleas bloom, Manly bring home more silverware
Hawthorn won the AFL premiership in 08 so hopefully the equivalent NRL team win too
How about 1947 - 1972. Manly starting must be as important as winning a comp
1987 and 2013 - 2013 will be the first year since 1987 to have no digits repeated Manly won in 1987
I have goosebumps
