Agreed, Mark. Unfortunately it also shows how poor the opposition was. We do the same thing against Parramatta and I'm fairly sure we won't be going to golden point…

What was so disappointing was that after the first spray, the Ref told him to stop.
So Jake does it three more times and on the third we get a 10 m penalty for his ego

No player should ever talk to the Ref unless they call you out.
Less angst and more focus on winning the game

I love Jake but he is going over the top when approaching the refs.

As pointed out, it’s not his job and he is only make things worse for us.

We’ll get penalised more (and so we should) with how he screams at them and it will put us under the pump more often then not.

Foran used to do it and I think that’s why Shame Hayne went against Manly so much in the end.

I remember him telling Jamie Lyon on more than one occasion to get Foran out of his face.

We all know what Hayne did whenever he refereed us after that. We got every bodgy call he could come up with.

I hope Jake doesn’t continue to act like this and put the next lot of refs against us.
