Seems tuipolotu is seen as a winger by des. Farnworth plays left centre. Koula has played right so far. Weekes is probably a lil bit off anyway. Besides don't know if kaeo is a centre? More a fb/58

I’m worried when silvertails continually ask that we sign more players from bottom teams. Occasionally one will come good, fingers crossed for bullemore, but mainly I’d rather we developed our promising players or sign players from top 4 clubs.

Farnworth is a good player, just starting to show his full potential. He is fast - in the QLD Cup he played mostly on the wing - see clip. Our current centre pairing is pedestrian, but I think it can be improved if Koula is given the opportunity to develop.

Recruitment is part of the game mate. Teams lack in certain positions so they sign externally.no one is saying to fork out 700k for him. Kotoni isn't even on that money. We are in our premiership window now.. people say we're developing our own talent. Yes that's great.. but when will they be ready? In a cpl of years, when the players we have are gone? Farnworth like it or not, is and will be better than any centre we have now.. excluding koula perhaps when he gets some games under his belt

I'd love to be more complimentary of them, they seem like great fellas and there's no disputing their effort. However compared to previous centres, a position the club has traditionally been strong in such as Fulton, Branighan, Gartner, O Connor, Shearer, Hill, Innes, Lyon, Bell, Matai, etc they are panels behind. Those guys would average more clean breaks a game than the current pairing do in a season.
Not suggesting we should pay $700k for Farnsworth, however failing to believe he is not a significant upgrade to what we currently have and you can't be objectively watching other matches on a regular basis.
