Well our computer is getting a bit too long in the tooth so its time to look for a new one.

Was hoping some of you guys could lend me your experience and point me in the best direction.

Basic requirements im looking at are an intel dual core and 256 video card an a gig of ram.

We will be keeping the old one for word processing (besides its a dell so not compatible with other stuff easily)

Anyone know any good stores that i can check out?

Any help is welcome.

http://www.computertarget.com.au/oscom/catalog/

I've been dealing with them for 15 years.

Very competitive prices. If you call them prices are generally cheaper than the website.

They're based at North Rocks and Harris Park

Are you going to have Linux as the OS?

Yep, you can order individual components. They'll charge about $70- to put them together if required.

If you know exactly what you need give them a call. 96878311

They're a Chinese run smallish business, they also sell hardware at the North Rocks computer markets.

If you know what you want give them a go. If not probably better off getting a Dell.
