Love the forum, been a Manly supporter since 1978 (8years of age) and I feel that all Manly supporters need to stick solid and support this great club. I'm in the tennis industry and in the past a P.E. teacher. Actually used to teach the Foran boys & M. Pearce in the 90's and its great to see these guys succeeding in their sporting careers.
I think its important that as Manly supporters that we can have a say in Manly's future strategic plan as we rise to the challenge of a post Des era.

Hey welcome. I love my tennis.
Favourite all time player is Jimbo Connors.
Currently using a Babolat racquet.Been a fan of Wilson racquets for years.
Loved the Wilson pro-staff by edberg.

Thanks Cliffhanger, 70's and 80's players had real personality. Edberg pro-staff racquet was a real classic. Be careful if you are using the Babolat Pure Drive as it is a very stiff racquet, hence a soft string might be in order. The Babolat Pure storm as used by Stouser is the more comfortable choice but each to their own. Cheers and great forum

Mr Tennis, welcome to Silvertails & forgive my tardy response time. Having said that GE once took 5 years to respond to a post so I guess by his reckoning I'm lightening quick.

Question if I may - I have two kids (aged 7 & 9) and I'm looking at getting them tennis racquets for Xmas. What would you recommend Mr Tennis?
