All this talk of rep players! Is Heckenberg eligible for Queensland or NSW in the Origin?

If it's Queensland I'm going to write a lengthy diatribe about the stupidity of the Queensland selectors leaving him out of their Origin squad.

I think he came originally from the Illawarra via St G/Illawarra and Parramatta. I agree with Daniel in that he is an indispensable player and unsung hero of our team but not the stand out type that plays rep!! (Mind you they said that about Steve Price and he has stepped up!)

I think he would go well but will struggle to get a look in.

A lot of the acolades are going to Kite, even though Hecks is his partner in crime and just as good.

with any luck he will get a look in but i doubt it - Start writing mata

Agreed that Hecks wouldn't make the NSW side (and that is who he qualifies for) but in the absence of Webcke I would take Heckenberg in the Qld side. He hits it up as hard in the 80th minute as he does in the 1st - just like Webcke.
