So , the great Des Ha$ler, favoured by so many on here , looks like he’ll be sacked from his 3rd club.

Wonder who the next gullible club is going to be ??

The Great Des was favored when we were winning
I don't think he was anyone's flavor of any month we were losing

Gullible clubs are known to sign Spoon coaches

At least Des has not won the Spoon so far
But the way he is going this season could be it

I am surprised by what’s happening up at the Gold Coast they have a good Roster. It’s as though Des has lost the players and or they are not buying into his methods. These days you need to be innovative as simply trying the old hard head approach of being a disciplinarian doesn’t appear to work. It’s not working at the Broncos either and they have an even better Roster. If the reports are true and Fifta asked to play a different side of the ruck and received the sarcastic response of yes you can in NSW cup or words to that effect, then I’m not surprised he doesn’t want to play for Des. Thats no way to treat any player let alone one of your best players even if he is out of form.

He did make 2 GFs and 3 more finals with the Dogs, and got Manly to 2 more finals.

If he was such a good coach why did he get sacked. When he went to the dogs they had a very good roster and from memory the dogs took out the minor premiership in all 3 grades the year before he arrived there then slowly gutted the team until they had no attack, as for Manly we've had a roster for years that's been a top 8 side. Unfortunately we rely on Turbo too much and his injuries have cost us.

False. Bulldogs missed the 8 in both 2010 and 2011.

Des took over and they made 2 of the next 3 GFs

Des was a great coach. Unfortunately, he has not evolved with the game

I was just responding to your comment that he had done nothing since he left Manly the first time. The record suggests he was still a finals level coach until rainbow gate. I’m still not convinced he is past it. It would take Bellamy and Bennett co-coaching to turn the Gold Coast into a decent side.

Those teams that Des Made the finals with V1 dogs and Manly V2 were finals team rosters with not one but 3 Elite player rosters like Turbo , Jurbo , DCE and were expected to make the finals .

Des at 31 % Winning ratio at the Titans is not a Pretty Good coaching performance

Des has not Done anything pretty Good for Years
