The boys crushed the bears 38-0 today,report is on club website,looks like our big boppers up front dominated and then the halves wreaked havoc.Couple of big props we have picked up,Tonga from out west and trialled with the roosters and Fotu from Guilford did well.Interesting guy playing halfback and goalkicker did well,Teddy Wilson is the son of David Wilson the Wallabies flanker from a few years back.Kid is a really good boxer as an age champ and came across from rugby this year(local boy)

Thanks Joe. Good update. Always interested in how our juniors are going. Don't recall us having such a great bunch of juniors through to the SG and Matts sides in a long time (ever?). Bodes well for our NRL side of the future.

Cheers,don't know how these young guys will go against the better sides(may come back down to earth).I love the fact that we aren't just looking to raid other clubs,we are picking up young guys from Rugby like Holakeituai(local),Weekes,Wilson(local)Matangi,Koula(under age Aussie rep winger).Locals like Afeaki,Hoy and guys from out west who have been overlooked like Fox,Tuipuloto,Tonga,C.K.Tong,Hunter,Pinomi,Mataele,Mau'u and Fotu brought in to take a chance.There are only 2 guys picked up directly from NRL clubs,the winger Brown is from the Knights under age academy side and the lock Uesele is from the Tigers.It is a good mix of talent and we seem to be targeting 3 main areas;local juniors,rugby guys who are local and from around Sydney and guys from out west who have been overlooked by the clubs out there...Our Ball side is pretty settled this year,some returning guys,guys promoted from Matthews and a couple of additions like Ott from the Knights and Tepu-Smith who switched from the Eels last year.If they stay grounded it could be a big year for that side...
