Absolutely both he and Ahofono were enormous, with a few line breaks and a lot of minutes.

Add those two to Josh Schuster and there’s some great forwards coming through our ranks. Schuster has to be wrapped up long term - only 17 I believe but will no doubt be pushing hard for first grade as he develops from 19-20.

I don't understand why Fox does not televise Grand Finals on a 24 hour channel 😎

Lets hope the first grade were inspired to bring home the match points on Sunday

Great come-from-behind win.
Manly is full of huge Polynesians who like to run over their opposition. That works well when you have possession, but big bodies tire quickly and the smaller, more agile Eels boys looked to use more teamwork to dent the tiring defence. Whether these kids will succeed as they age and size and weight doesn't count for as much is to be seen. But for Manly to win its first Under 16s title in something like 38 years - when the Eels had won 20 - is a great achievement.
Congratulations lads. It gives we fans some hope for the future.

The victory song is the same but it's like they aren't allowed to sing about drinking beer so the chant kinda ends weirdly.

Agree. ON my foxtel subscription, it didn't have the footy, it had a replay of the "professors farewell tour" which would have to be close to the WORST footy show on tv. It is pure, unadulterated garbage.

Congratulations to the HM team, a great result for them and the club. Last year they were underdogs and came within a whisker of knocking off the undefeated Knights. It’s beautiful to knife the Eels juniors two years running!

The SG Ball squad should be very strong next season. As the Who pointed out you’ve only got to have a few of these kids kicking on and it really helps your cap management.
