That's not your job you pesky moose ....

I sharn't be taking any notice of it 'til either @Smokin Joe or @Mitch tell me it is so ...

Good luck to the youngsters.
One look at the names of the players underlines that rugby league is a sport for Polynesians.

SEA Eagles coach Trent Barrett has plenty on his plate at the moment but he still found time to address the club’s Harold Matthews side ahead of their grand final today against Parramatta.

The under-16 players got a big boost when Barrett gave them a few tips before they trained at the club’ s Narrabeen headquarters

Manly’s Harold Matthews coach Trevor Ott said: “He knows the enormity of the occasion but said it was the team that plays a good, simple brand of football and executes is the one that gets the job done.

“For Trent to take the time out and have a chat with the boys was fantastic.”

And Barrett also said after the NRL side completed their captain’s run this morning they were hopping onto a bus to go to watch the team play the decider, at Leichhardt Oval.

That scenario shows the class of Barrett and why he is the right man at the helm through the club’s current dramas

BIG CHALLENGE

IT WILL be a David versus Goliath battle for Manly’s Harold Matthews side.

Parramatta has a massive junior league and have won 20 Harold Matthews titles.

And the Sea Eagles have not won a Harold Matthews or SG Ball title since the competitions started in 1970.

“It is also a great opportunity to do something special,” coach Trevor Ott said.

Good luck to the boys in Maroon and White today, fantastic achievement to make their grand final, no go and smash the whingers off the park!!

In the regular comp games Parra beat us 14-10 and then in the first final Manly won 26-24 so these are two evenly matched teams. Good luck to the boys, win us our first Harold Matt’s title.

10-8 at half time to our boys. To be honest they’ve bombed two or three tries with two knock ons over the try line. We should be in front by more. Fingers crossed for a big second half!
