Harden up

Yes, the results we've achieved lately are a combination of circumstances. Injuries, contract disgruntlement, bad press, disunity, egos out of control, lack of big front rowers, lack of bench usage exacerbating a 'player burnout' issue.

Our drop in form is one of the most rapid and pronounced i have seen in all my 46 years of following Manly. Its comes as a bit of shock after our 10 years of 'Golden Era'. Cant wait for the season to end actually, and the issues are dealt with methodically. One at a time. Thoroughly. Hope Saturday night is not too embarrassing, but, hey, actually, it doesn't matter - its so much a product now. The NRL want Souths to win, and so we had that tough draw, which seems to have taken it out of us.

If these means 'the end of the Stewart Bros era', Chnc, Skivvy, and a couple of others, along with the retirement of J King, SO BE IT.
But can we really afford to 'pay out' these contracts. Can the Warriors, Eels afford it ? really ?
