It wasn’t until January, 1947, that Manly Warringah would adopt the maroon and white as its district colours of the Freshwater Surf Club and the Sea Eagle, often seen at the time on the Sydney coastline, as its emblemHow cool was that! So the film of the Manly team in stripes is the 1946 team? What is on their badge? Is it a bird?
What about blokes like me who went to North Sydney Boys High? The Mighty Manly Sea Eagles .... The only good things ever to come out of North Sydney ...
Speaking of which, I note that the Asian-looking kid who allegedly called in the copy cat bomb hoax at the school was a NSBH student. He obviously hadn't been confident about the modern history exam. What about blokes like me who went to North Sydney Boys High?
Happy Birthday To the Greatest NRL team in the modern era who proudly hold the records of winning a grand final every decade since the 70s and who also hold the record for the highest grand final win everToday in 1946 our club was born.

It can't be 1946 as the maroon and white colours were not adopted until 1947. My understanding is that the first jersey emblem with a sea eagle was 1956. The film on Twitter may be from that year (it may not be first grade). Picture below is the 1956 emblem.View attachment 15905
Framed 1956 jerseyTHANK YOU!!!! That helps! Much appreciated
Its a great video, but it seemed to me to be inferring the footage was from 1946. But this seemingly can't be the case. Either way, it is a nice jersey in the video!
I love the minimalism of this jersey. There's not a club name, just the letters MW.Framed 1956 jersey
