I wonder if anyone realises that yesterday (29 August 2014) was the 119th birthday of Rugby League?

It was on 29 August 1895 that representatives of 22 rugby clubs met at the George Hotel in Huddersfield, England, and voted to break away from the Rugby Football Union to form their own Northern Union which evolved into Rugby League.

If not for events that English day, we might not have the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles that we know and love.

Its probably best we refer it to Toddy Fartberg and the other idiots running the game. It may need to then be referred to another official, maybe a video ref too, and they will still come back with the wrong fk'ing answer.
