How good was it to hear Phil Gould eat humble pie and declare Manly the real deal! Gave a lot of the credit to Kennedy (deservedly) but stated that we are a good football team. Was good to hear in light of the fact that he predicted us to run 15 out of 15.

I've still got that Sun-Herlad footy guide and when I want a laugh I read what he wrote. "Last! Someone has to run last". "Defence is not good enough to compete regularly. Tend to lack self-confidence and get down on themselves too often".

All of which was fair enough going into the start of the year, but still it's funny.
