Des Hasler to release training footage to members

It has been a fantastic start to 2008 for Membership of the Sea Eagles with the club setting a new Ticketed Membership record of over 1,360 people, however that was overshadowed by news this week that South Sydney hit a new record of 4,697 Ticketed Members. It was the first time in the Rabbitohs history that their Ticketed Members exceeded their non-ticketed Members which sit currently at 4,690 (Sea Eagles 500). The Rabbitohs fans are showing great strength in numbers something we are working hard to achieve at the Sea Eagles.
We have taken a number of new initiatives with our Membership campaign for this season but our boldest move will kick off today. 4,000 non-member Manly fans across the Sydney Metro region will receive a message from Sea Eagles Captain Matt Orford inviting them to become a Sea Eagles Member, followed up by a call from the Sea Eagles Membership Team to facilitate a hassle free joining process. It’s stage 1 of a campaign that we are hoping will take our Membership beyond 4,000 this season. It’s a big target but clubs such as the Bulldogs have had tremendous success with these programs.
As part of our continued efforts to improve our membership offerings the Grant Mayer today announced a new benefit for members.
“Its all about the members belonging to the club. We have to bring our fans closer and give them a greater experience as members,†Manly CEO Grant Mayer explained.
“We are currently developing a number of new Membership benefits for 2008 but I am happy to announce today that our head coach, Des Hasler, will be releasing regular video footage of our fulltime squad training.â€ÂÂ
“It comes from exiting new technology installed our at training headquarters and the release of the footage has been driven by Des to ensure that our Members receive exclusive access to our players.â€ÂÂ
