I was there too!!
The Rabbies jumped to a lead and scored 2 tries - Coleman and that Mavin who imploded against Canberra in a finals and was at home by the time the game finished haha....
As for this game - the forwards clash was Epic and all todays big blokes would be in shock with the contacts of the serious tough times back then....Crusher, Gibbs and Ward took it to them and won - what a game!!!

Daley did step up there....without insult he was a big unit who was a bit like Jason King.
A Manly boy through and through that was not the main enforcer of his time due to being surrounded by world class forwards....but some games just went up a gear - like the King Dog taking on ALL Burgess boys in 1 game....could have been the difference that game 2 weeks ago to spark those other sleepy giants.
