So often we are critical of the club and their fan outreach. We are quick to criticise how they see and treat us. So I think it important we highlight just as quickly how they go about things that we don't always see.

Batty has recently been through Cyclone Debbie in the last week, he managed to bring his wife and daughter down to Sydney for this weeks game. On Friday morning my time I fired off a quick email to Wayne the Sea Eagles media manager to just highlight that Batty was coming down to the game for his first time at Lottoland and that he had just been through the cyclone. It was very very late notice and a busy day for Wayne and the entire Sea Eagles team. Even though it was late Friday night, Wayne emailed me back and said "leave it with me", I passed on Batty's phone number.
Batty reported back that about 30 mins before kick-off Wayne invited them onto the field to come and take a few photos during warm up and really made their entire day and experience.
Don't under estimate just how busy Wayne and the rest of the Sea Eagles staff are on Game Day, for him with barely any notice to actually take it on board and extend a hand shake and something to @Batty and his family is fantastic and I am sure that really made the day for him and his family and they have a photo and a memory they will not forget.
So well done MWSE and well done for taking the time!
