Graham or klemmer.

Klemmer by far if I could choose (due to age)

Would love either although don't know our chance of snaring one

Harry something is happening mate , you don't just release a player without getting someone of the same or better value.

Graham at his stage of his career, would probably be as bad a signing as Ben Kennedy at the stage of his career we got him

Never understand the obsession with the number besides people's name having a 3 in front of it meaning they are done and not worth it, a mid 30s Galuvao was crucial in our premiership run

Whilst I tend to agree with your points re: age not being too much of a factor etc... we do not need a foward leader right now. We have a couple in Marty and Jake T.

Graham wouldn't come here to not lead, if that makes sense, and he sure as sht wouldn't come here to be a benchie.
Therefore Graham /Ben Kennedy/ Joe comparison is null and void imo.

I agree.

BK came along when the club was narrowly avoiding the spoon and he turned us into finalists. We are nowhere near as desperate for a forward leader as we were back then. We don't need an old head to show the young brigade anymore because they are experienced enough now to simply follow the likes of Taupau and Jake T.

I know everyone's thinking we'll replace Myles before June 30, but I'm not so sure. Lussick / Perrett can do at least the job Myles was doing and Paseka comes into the 25 as the depth. With the uncertainty around next years cap, plenty of clubs have already spent what they think it will be, but there's a very real possibility of a fire sale by those clubs to stay under if it turns out to be less. Guess who has the funds for 2018 to capitalize...

There are some good points there , and it would be very interesting to know just what Manly's actual salary cap 's present and projected situation actually is. Jake and Turbo have been already upgraded considerably for the next three years and A F B has been upgraded for 2018. And of course there is still Snake , Matai and now Myles's cap amounts to take into account . So again collectively , there should still be some considerable cap space available for whatever preferred acquisitions for next season. Also is anyone aware who is now receiving the N R L 's marquee club player allowance ? , it was previously allocated to Killer , but i am not aware who is receiving it now.

Graham's busted. HIA's, neck injuries, it's all over for the old warhorse. You'd get another year max.

Klemmer comfortably, but you'd obviously have to pay through the roof for the privilege.

Slapper or biter? How about neither..? We've done well picking big units off the scrap heap for fractions of what those two would want. Why not keep doing what's working?

They are saying Des, Castle and Dib have said that Graham & Tolman will be at the club 100% next season at the fan forum. With Woods coming, they are basically saying with salary to shed, who is left out of that group?

Klemmer will be on the market, and I'd welcome him with open arms.

Addin Fonua-Blake, Marty Taupau, David Klemmer, Darcy Lussick, Lloyd Perrett thank you very much (with Brenton Lawrence as well if he doesn't go to the UK). To me, that's premiership quality.

Apart from the now Sipley signing , Bainbridge, Parker , Jorge and Frank Winterstein are apparently still to be resigned. So before other important recruitment and salary cap considerations , some of these currently unsigned players should surely be taken into account for retention for the club.

Klemmer of the two but for mine we are more in need of an edge back rower than a middle forward

I'm quite happy with Taupau, Lussick, AFB, Perrett, Sipley and Paseka.......happy to give Lawrence a 1 year deal but wouldn't stand in his way if he gets a better offer, if he leaves sign a depth prop

Jake also plays through the middle and I see Bainbridge that way as well

Edge back rower all the way

I had a negative attitude towards Klemmer as a person but someone said they were at a Blues function the other night and gave a positive report on Klemmer. It is a difficult function for the players as they have to go around introduce themselves and look as if they are enjoying the night. Some were out they mingling, some were a bit reserved and a few "hide" in the corner. Klemmer moved around and spoke to lots of the guests. He impress my friend anyway. Not that makes him a good footballer but helps as team member.
