    Gould's Verdict

    * Phil Gould's verdict: GOOD, tough win by Manly. Easily their best this season. They overcame a horror start by grafting their way back into the game with simple football. In the second half they finished all over the top of the Roosters. Their forwards led the way and physically dominated proceedings. Ben Kennedy, Steve Menzies, Anthony Watmough and Brent Kite were outstanding. Matt Orford is really starting to find his feet. The Roosters again looked disjointed.
