We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.

We have been getting regular requests for users who have been locked out of their accounts because they have changed email adresses over the lifetime of their accounts. Dan could probably tell you more, but the basic gist of AdWords is that it's auctioned based (as far as I know). You put in a bid for how much you are willing to pay to have your ad shown when someone searches for those words.
It all comes down to you: in effect, it can cost as little as 1c per click (I believe it's clicks, not impressions).

that is pretty much correct but for a different thing
Adwords are like we have in the banner on this site and you say you wil pay x amount for each advert display. The ones in Google.com you actually pay for rank there which costs a bit more.
Contact them Google ar epretty good at getting back to you
