Well what a blunder....game on the line and drops the ball early in the count to gift Souths the winning FG.
Well that's 1 scenario and in honesty, if we rewind to every Silvertail watching the game last Saturday night, I guarantee there were some colourful words aimed at big Josh Aloiai at the time.
In reflection the game is 80 minutes and there were "many" other opportunities to win that footy game and in fact, many other reasons that cost us the 2 points and though some valid excuses, we need to be better.
Personally after seeing Aloiai being openly honest and the most dissappointed out of all of us in the post match interview, I was impressed how he assessed it all, thanking the support of team mates, coaches and fans for sticking solid and making a promise he will make up for it on the paddock.
Have had a few moments where Aloiai has had me frustrated to start 2023, but he is a goer and I believe a man of his word....being his own harshest critic, I support him 100% to come back better because of it and respect his tough personel criticism and the way his Manly team mates had his back.
