Hey guys,

I am thinking of moving to the Gold Coast in the next 6 months.

I was wondering if anyone up there is in the security industry?

If so, how much work is there?

Hi mate I was managing pubs up here for a while and although I've been out for a while there seemed to always be shortages in crowd control and armaguard type jobs. The Qld govt has banned bikkies from the industry so I'm sure there are gaps. We have heaps of events so you should get a foot in the door no probs.

Thanks Manlyfan76. Good to know. I have sent my CV off to a couple of companies. Hopefully i will hear something back. Seems to be a fair amount of companies up there.
