Don't know if anyone else has noticed but commentators allways seem to use both his christian and surname when calling games

Most players are refered to by their surname only in most cases even rookies like Cronk & Hayne but Rose seems to have both names called most of the time.

It's no big deal but just thought it was strange (must be because he is such a big lovable chap)

Yep I've noticed it!
I meant to put it up on the forum and I'll do it tonight if I can find it but George's brother Matt plays at 5/8 in Group 9 for Tumburumba and there was good story in the paper about him and his brother the other day.

I had a chat with him at the members afternoon last Tuesday and he seemed a really genuine nice guy. I told him he was going really good and he seemed pleased to hear it.
