His footwork at the line really helped him to hit the gap between defenders as well. Terrible news about his cousin.

agree, was wondering what they would have done if dusty lost the ball or threw a pass to a manly player on the break & manly scored.

A whole lot to like about this kid .... good complete game ... still concerns me his lack of metres and penetration on kick returns ... note the big difference Jorge often gives us .... but all up he is a keeper ..

Woodsie I reckon he will fill out he is only young. He could easily put on 10kgs and not lose any speed.

Still can’t decide if it was a great kick from DCE perfectly timed to bounce into his arms or a poor kick from DCE that was certain to go dead except for Garrick’s extraordinary athleticism. In the end, of course, it was great to watch and points on the board and I wouldn’t mind if they scored a hundred more like it.

...and he has predoinately played centre I think ..... it is probably a new skill he needs to work on as it does make a difference getting a set of winning the that 1st ruck .... but as you say he will develop in that area ....
