The teams Achilles heel this season has been the shocking game management that has cost us wins and seen us blow so many leads this season.

To lose as many as six games below the margin of 6 points or under is the reason we are in such a mess!!!

The lack of game management and composure especially from our halves and experienced players has killed us.

If we are any chance in any of our last five games this MUST improve!!!

It is frustrating to look at statistics and see that in most weeks we either beat or match our opponents in areas like line breaks. missed tackles and metres gained etc but we end up on he wrong side of the scoreboard because we struggle to close out a game.

Last week was the classic example, 13 minutes left all we had to do is basics and we were blown away by our own mistakes, frustrating!!!

Game management / structure call it what you will has been our demise all season , there are reason’s ( not excuses ) the 5/8 position is the stand out the lack of a quality 1/2 in the side contributes to the lack of game management ,DCE can’t do everything and probably over plays a lot cause of the lack of confidence in his. 1/2 partner until the club addresses that problem the game management will suffer week in week out

Player mgmt I say ,Given no chance all year, only having 50% halves.No teams compete without 2 quality halves . We were on the back foot from the very beginning.Cant blame coach or the one half we do have.Poor Poor upper management ,they are the f@3ckers deserving of the spoon.
The same upper mgmt who has let one of our best players this year go to Parra.Great retention...

If you want an example of what I wrote earlier, have a look at the last two minutes of the first half, Suli makes a bust and we are right on the attack, this is where our halves need to take control, what happens? There is a shepherd, we concede possession, they then force a goal line drop out and score from the last play of the half, they now have all the momentum when we should have a nice cushion at halftime, this is what is costing us over and over, our halves inability to control a game when it is badly needed!!

Every kick off has gone to the Sharks left hand sode (in the shade) why not got to the right high into the sun? I don’t know maybe nothing but any small advantage is worth a go. Haven’t gone back high to Dugan again since that try

That last set of 6 within 10m of the Sharks line to come away with nothing just shows how bad our game management is. Woeful.

Credit where it is is due, DCE has a lethal left foot drop kick and it came off today. If he can step up his game management skills he will be a much better half back and it is true that he needs support at 5/8 to help with this.

I’m sorry but what was so poor about his game management today? I actually thought it was really good. His pass selection was exceptional. He had 3 try assists and a line break assist and if it wasn’t for jetskis butter fingers he would have had a fourth try assist. Please enlighten me?

If not for Cherrys cut out pass to Tafua on the 4th tackle in extra time, we dont even have a chance at the Field Goal.

Geeze. Cherry kicks goals today like a champion, kicks the winning field goal left footed and still some/one alleged Manly supporter knock him!
He must have been practicing his goal kicking because they left the boot like a tracker buller, not gaining much height but deadly accurate.

We've been really fit and very well coached several times this year, it's infuriating that the fitness and coaching staff can't be more consistent.

We certainly played with more energy but our defence out wide is shocking. We are haemorrhaging far too many points out there!

DCE managed the game very well today. Have Walker play second fiddle to let Chez dominate worked out well. Walker played a bit like Munster in origin.
