We are going no where fast. For 20 minutes they really had a go then they allowed indiscipline and weak defence to undo all that good work. Penrith were there to be beaten we didnt have the desire or composure to win that game.

The end surely has come for a few of this team, we need changes now, this is 4 games in a row and Toovey has to change it. We cant go on like this because we are offering nothing.

The key indicators, 7 lines breaks to 1, they made many more metres than us and controlled the ruck.

DCE was anonymous tonight, Foran did better but we have platform for these guys.

Of course it turns a game but there's no way in hell we were the better team tonight. 60 mins of "effort" wont win you many games.

The fact the discussions on here lately revolve primarily around effort is a damning indictment on the current lack of talent on the field.

it didn't help thats for sure.
for 12 minutes(52nd minute to 64th minute) the only time manly had the ball was to kick off.
that being said i can't understand why we are playing 60 odd minutes of boring 1 out football & then only once we have to score a heap of points does the ball get thrown around.

I can't say this team didn't try. They did. We are just hopeless atm and have nothing to offer in attack. Nothing at all.
The injuries are killing us and we have to ride this out.
They could also try passing the ball instead of one out running. It's achieving nothing.
A long year ahead.
The next win I'm going to celebrate like it's a Grand Final.

Gasnier basically just said Toovey is already gone and Nathan Brown is going to be coaching us in the very near future. If that happens, we need to take to the streets and let Penn and Kelly know who really owns this club. Either that or I walk away after 35years support.

Every week it is symonds having to perform as centre. Every week someone gets injured at training. I wonder how many got injured at training. Too many to be bad luck.
