I would not trust Phil Gould's word as far as I can throw him. But you can't argue with his results unfortunately.....

Fair market value. He was on 350k. Tigers offered 1.1. Dogs signed him for 750k. Sounds about right to me. 400k more than what he was on this year and next. 350k less than what the Tigers offered. Seems fair to me. Not that hard to understand really.

The problem is his position in the media, which he blatantly uses to gain advantage for his club.

Surely that's a conflict of interest but no doubt the NRL will continue to turn a blind eye to it, along with Anasta being a player manager & using his media presence to his advantage there too.

100% agreed. He also hides behind the media mask when publicly criticising the NRL. Some things that he has said would get most other club officials sanctioned, but because he says it in his media job he gets away with it.

I'm not convinved on Galvin as a halfback and do think this will cause unrest this season.

That said, he is a talent......so will be an interesting watch

Sure, but they are 9 and 2.

Why would you even consider potentially blowing up this current season.

Will be a huge test for Ciraldo to keep it all together I reckon.

Well why wouldn't they if they are allowed too? There isn't any pokies in WA, nor gambling ads there or QLD. Comes down to said governments. Coca cola is bad for you too, but they aren't gonna stop advertising and let their competitors in pepsi get full reign of the market

Gus has his man now, so if Gus ever decides to move on to another club in future, he can take Galvin with him (like he did Kikau, Burton & Crichton from Penrith).
