Glass houses.

How? I said we have our own problems in regards to injury & DCE’s form. That doesn’t change the fact not a single player from our team has posted bad about him on socials nor has he been dropped to reserve grade with reports of bullying which was both my points. If there was problems like this that became public & DCE was to be dropped I’d have the same viewpoint that he shouldn’t be back in 1st grade a week later.

I get you are 1 of the people that only comes on the site after a few losses to try cause drama but if you can’t see a difference between the situations then I can’t help you champ. You & soup are 2 peas in a pod

Sharks will smash them, we have our own problems but that club is a complete joke. Multiple players posting on socials making fun of him + Galvin & his manages antics = disaster. How do you expect them to line up next to each other & put bodies on the line? They should have never dropped him in the 1st place if he was a chance to play a week later

I didn’t say our glass houses are exactly the same. We have our glass house, they have theirs. But if you can’t see the similarities between our respective situations, so be it.

And with all due respect, if you are going to arc up every time someone says something negative on here, might be best to take a few weeks holiday.

No issues with any of that. All I was saying is that the phrase “people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” seems appropriate, as we are hardly in a position to be criticising others.

We have a captain who doesn’t want to play with us (and to borrow your analogy, would you want to put your body on the line for a captain who doesn’t want to be there?) a perpetually injured highest paid player, a poor track record in recruitment and development stretching over a decade, a coach and coaching staff who don’t appear to have the answers, poor junior results and an absentee owner. Our foundations are so weak that for close to a decade our fortunes have waxed and waned on the health of a single player.

So sorry if that is too negative, but I stand by my view that we are not really in a position to be having a go at the tigers. I have to say that apart from this Galvin drama I think as a club they were/are heading in the right direction, and they will be back on course once the Galvin situation resolves itself. I am less confident that as a club we even know which way we are heading, let alone any idea how to get there.
